I didn’t write this book for everyone. I wrote it for the man who knows that something is missing. The man who is building a life (or just starting to build a life), but senses he isn’t fully present in that life. The man who may possess a little power, but no real peace in his heart. The man who may have become successful, maybe even extremely successful, but isn’t strong with conviction, purpose or meaning.

These pages are not long because the truth isn’t complicated. What is difficult is cultivating the discipline to live it and breathe it and walk it daily. What is rare is the man who does. You aren’t here by accident (I genuinely believe that). You are here because something in you is still alive. Your heart is still pounding in your chest. Your blood is still pumping through your veins. Something inside of you is crying out to build, to speak, to guide, to carry, to inspire...to live.
